Story Outline:
The film is about an eighteen-year-old boy, Adam Mcknight, who never knew his father. His father, David Mcknight, is a drunk liar, and the mom separated him when David tried to take his own life and almost killed Adam in the process. Adam finally got everything he wanted but struggled with what to do with his life. He got accepted to his dream college, and he graduated from high school, but he struggles with a simple question. Should he see his father after eighteen years of unresolved trauma?
Adam gets a text message from his father wanting to see if he wants to meet but Adam isn’t really sure what to do. He decides to tag along with some of his friends to go on a camping trip before going their separate ways. They drink, and they’re having fun, but they are kidnapped by an anthropomorphic cult called the Animal Kingdom. Transported to an alternate dimension where humans haven’t been seen for 65 million years ruled by Anthropomorphic animals. Adam has to flee from a man-eating cult while the many challenges in Kingdom City throw at him, his only ally is a famous blue executive dragon chief, Keith Lambstroh. The true essence of this film is a mixture of comedy, drama, and horror elements.

Tone:
The tones shift perfectly with the father-and-son comedic relationship between Keith and Adam. But dramatically shifts when introducing our main villain, Kletus Dragonheart, with the horror aspect of his cult and the political views he has on humans. In some ways, we can see the main issues in our society when seeing Kletus on screen. In the moments from the beginning, middle, and end, each character has a purpose for Adam and Kieth's character arc for trying to find himself and what he wants in this world of uncertainty. Not only the characters are relatable but some feel human for animal-like characters. It's definitely not your average animated feature. Kingdom City is about family, connecting with people that challenge others and ourselves to challenge our inner demons. It's a fun comedy horror science fiction fantasy film for adults but gives lessons that all ages can understand. It's made to challenge and change how we see animated films with its mature themes of pain, love, and risk-taking.

Themes:
The themes of this film are found family and confronting your deepest fears. Tone: The tone of the movie will be a mixture of comedy with Adam, Keith, and his friends. While facing the big horror elements of the cult. When it comes to horror, I want to be the truth that even in this dystopian wonderland full of walking talking animal society is similar to Zootopia. Their world has politics, struggles, and religious fanatics.  It will show the audience that Kingdom City is its own character. In many ways, it's similar to our world. We have people we love and cherish but there are people in power that will use that same power for personal gain.

Audience Takeaway:
The audience should take away the fundamentals of confronting fear.  Whether it's fear from a family member in the past or finding one's identity. Everyone will take away a message that will encourage the audience to not let fear win. Family is what you make of it and it doesn't have to be blood-related.
